Cass County Refuse will be collecting recycling on Thursday, December 26th and Thursday, January 2nd instead of Christmas and New Year's Day.

Enrollment for the 2019-2020 Cass County 4-H year is currently open. If you have a child age 5 (by January 1^st) through age 18, and are interested in joining 4-H, it’s time to enroll. Enrollment is completed on-line at https://ne.4HOnline.com. Maybe you have some friends already in 4-H; ask them which club they belong to. If you need help selecting a club, call the Extension Office at 402-267-2205. The office is open 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.

Night Before Christmas - Contest Delayed to Christmas 2020

I personally apologize for anyone that was planning on participating in our Twas the Night Before Christmas - 2019 Story Telling Contest we announced before Christmas. John Harrington ( Computer John )

We wanted to create awareness of our new www.CassPod.com Cass Area PodCast Portal. We wanted to invite folks to try their skills in a fun Holiday way. Unfortunately I did not consider that in-order for such a contest ( seems simple enough ) has many moving parts and in order to be fair and successful - many volunteers would be required. Especially several credible and non-partial Judges - are required minimum of 3 Judges and as of 12/10/2019 we have only one. We therefore decided to delay the contest to next year. Sorry about that.
